J. Gust Transportation, Inc. has been in the transportation business over 30 yrs. We have a medium sized fleet and Lease agreements with our Owner Operators. We have the experience to handle your freight professionally and carefully. We can handle any problem that could occur with our 24-hour dispatch. Which is done by a live person! We make it a point to ensure all trucks are newer makes and all reefer unit inspections are done periodically. Along with Carb requirements by the state of CA. We keep records of all drivers performances. Anyone who is consistently late or doesn’t maintain their equipment is terminated. This is the benefit of using our Co. I (Jeff Gust) have been in the industry for over 26 years. My father (Rod Gust) has been doing this since the late 70s. I worked for him after graduating Fresno State University. After 10 years as a truck broker, I decided to buy some of my own trucks and start my own business (Gust Trucking) and (Gust Logistics). That lasted about 9 years until a nasty divorce forced me to sell everything. I went back to work for my father’s Company (Gust Transportation). I have been there for the last 7 years. I have now started J. Gust Transportation, Inc., DBA Gust Transportation and now own the Company. It has been a rough ride, but have survived through the ups and downs. I feel there is a dual relationship with customer and trucker. One is just as important as the other. The biggest mistakes I have seen in the past is making the customer the main concern and neglecting the importance of the trucker. Together I make sure there is a perfect match. I want to get the best rate for the Tucker as long as the most affordable load for my customer. You always get what you pay for! That is why we are right in the middle when it comes to rate quotes. Sometimes that can be a lot cheaper than you were expecting!
